Roses are red and smell quite well,
Violets are blue and at times violet too.
Victory gardens cause Japanese angst,
Meriting "likes" from He whom we give thanks.
Sleeping beauty of vines embraces the heart,
Until that minute-decided life must part.
Hasten to prune the hassen flower,
No smell of death yet all the power.
